With your on-going work experience on aircraft over time, you can develop to become so calles „certifying staff“ as mechanic (B1) or avionics (B2) within a few years. The great thing about this is that in the future you may be offered various options as to which type of aircraft you can look after. Also as a B1, for example, you can check the work of other mechanics and certify the airworthiness of an aircraft yourself. As certifying staff you work independently and coordinate maintenance teams. But even as a not yet fully grown B1, you can expect a very versatile job in which you will be introduced to all the components of an aircraft step by step.
